'Highlight Your Life' @ 2017 A&C Expo Taiwan
Date:
2017-01-01 ~ 2017-02-12

The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts will join the 2017 Art & Creative Expo Taiwan to present photography, visual art, and digital media at Taichung Software Park from Jan. 1 through Feb. 12.

Titled “Highlight Your Life,” the exhibition will be divided into three sections featuring contemporary photographic works collected by Art Bank Taiwan, cultural and creative products developed by NTMoFA, and interactive digital art that integrates street views to present an immersive journey for audience members.

A total of nineteen works by eleven artists from Art Bank under NTMoFA will be showcased, along with products from six local brands, including Tatung (大同電鍋), Jolin Wu Design (林果設計), Macro Maison (有情門), The Sliders (Sliders城市自行車), Pileup Your Life (層層生活組裝家具), and Lo Lat Furniture & Objects (路力家器具).

The cultural and creative section will present lifestyle products augmented with creative aesthetics. The exhibition will also display three lines of clothing co-designed and developed by NTMoFA and Taiwan brand iohll.

The digital art section will allow audiences to learn and feel art creations through interactive and sensory devices and AR technology, blurring the line between the physical world and mediated reality to experience a new level of aesthetics in iconic art works.

Director Hsiao Tsung-huang (蕭宗煌) of NTMoFA noted that Taichung Software Park is a newly established base for technology development that is also attentive to culture and arts, as these are two key elements in tech advancement.

NTMoFA and Art Bank has been focusing on making art a part of everyday life, and their upcoming exhibition will combine living space with creative products to welcome audiences into an imaginative world of art, added Hsiao.
