National Museum of Taiwanese Literature
Chinese Name: 國立台灣文學館
Established in Tainan in 2003, the National Museum of Taiwanese Literature is Taiwan's first national museum dedicated to the literary arts.
Its purpose is to present the richness and diversity of Taiwanese literature beginning from indigenous cultures, through the Dutch, Ming, Qing, and Japanese periods, and into modern times.
The Museum not only records and organizes Taiwan's literary heritage for preservation and research, but also offers a rich literary experience to the public through various exhibitions and educational and promotional activities, thereby promoting cultural development.
